PURPOSE:The crystallization temperature and filament-filament dynamic friction coefficient of filament are controlled in specific ranges to improve the heat setting on false twisting and the motion of knitting loops, thus improving the touch and uniformity of the fabrics. CONSTITUTION:In nylon 66 filaments for texturing, the crystallization temperature and filament-filament dynamic friction coefficient are controlled to 205-210 deg.C and 0.85-0.95 respectively. For example, the crystallization temperature can be controlled by adjusting the spinneret temperature and time of polymer-staying in the spinneret and the friction coefficient can be achieved by adjusting the kinds and amount of finishing oil applied.
