PURPOSE:To improve efficiency as well as to automatize the operation in such a way that subsequent treatment of castings in the casting process is done by an automatic grinding machine composed of a part that mechanically drives a ground object, and a part that displays driving sequence and operating distance. CONSTITUTION:A mechanical operating device (A) fixed on the ground surface of a grinder 39 is fixed within a base box 1 at the stationary place. A cylinder 3 is installed on the lower surface of a carrier which is movable in the forward and backward directions along Y axis. Then, a carrier 16 which is movable in the forward and backward directions along Y axis that makes shifts across X and Y axes per rotation of 90 degrees is installed upon a rotary table 11, a carrier 21 which is movable in the forward and backward directions along X axis that makes shifts across X and Y axes per rotation of 90 degrees is installed upon the carrier 16. Besides, a carrier 25 is incorporatively constituted upon the carrier 21, a piston 28 makes a clamp 29 move vertically along Z axis along the inner cylinder of a cylinder 30 incorporatively constituted with an arm 29.
