METHOD OF RECOVERING HEAT FROM INORGANIC SALTTCONTAINING WASTE LIQUID

PURPOSE:To carry out recovery of heat at a high efficiency, by capturing most of the salt produced in furnace and thereby reducing the amount of salt entrained in exhaust gas to a great extent. CONSTITUTION:When concentrated waste liquor Wc is combusted in combustion chamber 8, water content in waste liquor Wc is evaporated and combustible content is gasified into exhaust combustion gas (g1). On the other hand, inorganic salts are precipitated and stick onto the wall surface of furnace, and then they are discharged to the outside of incinerator 6 by way of batch process consisting of melting of the inorganic salts precipitated on the furnace wall, flow-down, flowing into liquid l from outlet port 12, and its dissolution. Here, amount of exhaust combustion gas g1 is sufficient for use in recovery of heat since it occupies most part of the total exhaust combustion gas produced in combustion chamber 8, and it is obtained through incineration of concentrated waste liquor Wc. Therefore, inorganic salts are not entrained substantially. Thus, it is enabled to reduce the amount of inorganic salts attracted onto the tube wall of boiler 14 or onto the surface of outlet tube 11 and to thereby minimize lowering of heat exchanging efficiency.
