PREVENTIVE AND REMEDY FOR YOUNG PIG AND CALF AGAINST COLLIBACILLOSIS

PURPOSE:A preventive and remedy for young pigs and calves against collibacillosis, comprising gamma-globulin derived from highly immune serum of horses by coliform bacilli. CONSTITUTION:Coliform bacilli separated from laxative feces of younf pigs and calves collected from several farms are injected into horses. Serums obtained from the blood samples are directly, or in a gamma-globulin dosage form separated by the conventional method, used as the title preventive and remedy for preventing young pigs or calves, which could not obtain the immune antibody due to the collection of colostrum, against the blood poisoning, colisepsis (collibacillosis precox) and delayed collibacillosis.
