STARTING FUEL SUPPLY EQUIPMENT OF VARIABLE VENTURI TYPE CARBURETOR

PURPOSE:To enable smooth starting operation, providing a starting air passage in the starting juel supply equipment, branching off the atmospheric pressure hole from above starting air passage to the atmospheric pressure chamber separated with a diaphragm installed a suction piston. CONSTITUTION:When starting engine, a starting valve 23 is pulled upward slightly to start with a throttle valve 3 shut. At this moment, most of air to supply to the engine is inhaled into the cylinder to accommodate above valve 23 of starting fuel supply equipment through a starting air jet 18 and starting air passage 19, mixed with mixture with air led from starting air bleed 21 and fuel led through starting ket 20 in the cylinder, and supplied into the throttle chamber 1 from the starting nozzle 22. With a phenomenon of back fire produced, its impulse wave is transmitted to the starting air passage 19 through the starting nozzle 22, however shock transmitted to the atmospheric pressure chamber 25 is relieved because the atmospheric pressure hole 17 resists.
