FITTING METHOD FOR ROTARY DRUM OF MAGNETIC RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE TO ROTATION AXIS

PURPOSE:To facilitate fitting accurately a rotary drum to the rotation axis by fixing the rotary drum position onto a disc plate, where a putting-on face orthogonal to the rotation axis is provided, by a prescribed jig provided with a steel ball, etc. CONSTITUTION:Drum 11 is positioned by plane part 13B of disc plate 13 orthogonal to rotation axis 12 and steel ball 15 of jig 14 inserted between taper part 13 of plate 13 and the inside wall of rotary drum 11 at every 120 deg.. Further, when jig 14 is pressed, the position of drum 11 is fixed accurately by the inside wall of guide plate 17 of jig 14 and the outside wall of drum 11. Consequently, the rotary drum of the magnetic recording and reproducing device can be fitted to the rotation axis accurately without adjustment by a simple operation of only jig operations.
