ANTIICORROSIVE METHOD FOR WETTTYPE ELECTRIC DUST COLLECTOR

PURPOSE:To prevent dust collector construction material from corrosion when treating gas containing acidic corrosive components, by a mechanism wherein spray water for wet-type electric dust collector makes use of an aqueous solution mixture including nonvolatile alkaline agent and volatile alkaline agent. CONSTITUTION:A volatile alkaline agent such as ammonium hydroxide, morpholine, etc. is mixed with common nonvolatile alkaline agent, or hydroxide of alkali metals or alkali earth metals and used as spray water for a wet-type dust collector which treats dust containing acidic corrosion components. For example, a volatile alkaline agent contained in the aqueous volatile alkaline agent solution tank 16 is injected by the pump 23 into nonvolatile alkaline agent-containing spray water flowing from the spray-water reservoir 20 to the spray-water inlet-pipe 15, and mixed solution is sprayed from the spray nozzle 11 to the electric dust collector 10.
