WE CLAIM:- 1. A photographic assemblage comprising the following components (a), (b) and (c): (a) a photographic element which comprises: i) a transparent support and superposed on the transparent support in the following order: ii) a dye image-receiving layer, iii) a substantially opaque, light-reflecting layer or layers which are permeable to alkaline processing liquid; iv) one or more photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers each of which contains, or is adjacent to a layer containing, a dye image-providing material which is non-diffusible in the presence of said processing alkaline liquid and which is capable of producing a dye which is diffusible in the presence of said liquid as a result of reaction with oxidised sliver halide developing agent in the presence of said liquid b) a reservoir of said alkaline processing liquid, said reservoir being capable of releasing said liquid when subjected to pressure so that it contacts the uppermost layer of said photosensitive element, and c) a process sheet which is capable of covering at least the image area of said photosensitive element and which is associated with opacifying means so that the emulsion layers can be protected from light after exposure, a silver halide developing agent being present in component (a) or (b).
