The traffic sign consists of a box with a window-shaped frame. The frame contains two plates for text. The box is protected against the effect of the weather. The suspension consists of two support brackets (26, 27) fitted by bolts (28). The frame (4) is encased in plastic strips (18) with U-shaped cross-section. The encasing is wider than the frame. There are grooves between the flanges of the strips and the two sides of the frame which engage the text plates. The strip can be removed from the edges of the traffic sign.
