The boom includes two spaced, parallel, semi-submerged floating screens and a skimmer arranged at one end of the boom to receive oil directed to that end of the boom by the screens. The boom also includes flow diverters located between the screens to divert water and entrained oil passing under the upstream screen upwards in front of the downstream screen and laterally towards the skimmer.
