A cask, etc. of Al or Al alloy to hold liquefied petroleum gas has a bung hole outlet out-swaged to form an upstanding sleeve, and a collar with a flare or flange at its lower end and profiled to fit into the outlet. The collar is welded to the sleeve at the upper ends. The outlet pref. comprises a cylindrical part merging to an outwardly flared lower part, and the collar is profiled in accordance with this shape. The arrangement minimises the danger of the collar becoming detached, internal pressure forcing the flange against against the vessel surface so that the weld is relived of pressure loading.
