Abstract of the DisclosureTemperature indicating apparatus having asensor for introduction into a region having a tempera-ture to be measured. Circuitry responsive to the sensorsupplies an electrical signal representative of the tem-perature in the region. A display provides a visualindication of the temperature in the region and includesa plurality of temperature indicator each of which repre-sents a discrete temperature level. Circuitry responsiveto the electrical signal selectively illuminates at anyone time only that indicator which corresponds to thetemperature represented by the electrical signal at thattime.
