Series Twin Leaf Spring Weighing ScaleAbstract of the DisclosureA twin leaf spring weighing scale is disclosed, whereinthe leaf springs are connected to each other in tandem abouta common support. One of the leaf springs is angled abovea horizontal axis, so a to deflect downwardly with an increasingeffective bending length. The other leaf spring is positionedalong a horizontal axis to provide a decreasing effectivebending length as it deflects downwardly. The two leaf springsact tgether to provide a unitized leaf spring structurethat has a constant spring rate throughout the weighingrange of the scale.
