A GOVERNOR AND DECELERATOR CONTROL LINKAGEA B S T R A C TA governor and control linkage having a first manuallyoperated actuator provides for setting of a shaft and a con-trol arm at a particular operating position through acoupling. The coupling locks the shaft in the aforedescribeddesired position while allowing a second actuator to tempor-arily reposition the control arm at any intermediate settingwithout disturbing the manual setting. A resilient memberis included to return the control arm to the manual settingon release of the second actuator. The prepositionableshaft is movable only in response to the first actuator.
