ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTIONThe invention relates to an apparatus for transportingparticulate material from the bottom of basins. The apparatusincludes a flexible container having container sections, eachsection of the container including at least a load chamber and afloat chamber. The float chamber is made of a gas and waterproofmaterial. A feeder feeds batched feeds of the solid material toa respective load chamber of the respective section. An unloaderunloads the solid material from the respective load chamber onemergence of the respective section from the basin. A fillerfills a respective load chamber of the respective section withgas upon filling of the respective load chamber with the solidmaterial. A discharger discharges the gas from the respectivefloat chamber when the respective section emerges from the basin.
