A jump-method in a memory-controlled sequential control device for machines, especially for industrial sewing machines, and sequential control circuits therefor
In order to be able to execute address jump commands in a memory-programmed sequential control system, the addresses (A) of the program memory (1) are numbered consecutively and can be selected using an address counter (2) which can be set to any desired count positions. The data (D) are assigned to the addresses (A) selectively controllable output functional units (5) and jump command transmitters (6). That address (A) that follows a jump instruction address is assigned a jump address (Ax) as data (D). If no jump command is transmitted from this specific jump command transmitter (6) when a jump command address is reached, the data (D = Ax) at the next address (A) in the program memory (1) are ignored and with the next but one address (A ) the program stored in the memory (1) is processed further. However, if a jump command is transmitted from the queried jump command generator (6), the address counter (2) is set to the count position which is stored in the memory (1) as the jump address (Ax = D) under the next address (A), and the other Processing of the saved program is continued from this new counting position.
