This invention is directed to compounds of the formula IMAGE wherein R1 and R2 are each independently hydrogen or a methyl radical, with the proviso that only one of R1 and R2 is methyl radical, as well as to aromatic compositions containing said compounds and the use of such aromatic compositions to impart desired odors.
