The machine possesses a rotating drum of circular cross-section, consisting of two tyres (7) and of rings (1, 2) which are located between these and which are connected to one another by means of rods (5, 6) via intermediate pieces (3, 4). The distances (d) between the rings (1, 2) and between the tyres (7) and rings (2) can be varied axially by means of screw nuts (8). Elements (10) make it possible to clean adhering soil off from the rings (1, 2). This machine is intended for improving the product quality of potatoes lifted from the ground and to ensure an increase in performance. IMAGE
