Pass or credit card - with titanium pigment in plastic substrate for better clarity

A pass or credit card consists of a plastic substrate such as PVC or polyester which carries on its surface a photosensitive layer. The photograph of the holder, his signature, current No. and expiry date are contained in this layer. A protective layer, made of the same material as the substrate, covers the whole card. The substrate contains pref. a white titanium pigment because this gives it a neat appearance and the photograph and signature become very clearly visible against the white background.
