The ball or roller bearing (24) with oil mist lubrication is intended for a horizontal shaft (12). It comprises a housing (10) containing an oil sump (48), a pump chamber (18), a pump (42, 56), a rotating atomiser disc 46, and a return oil chamber (28) with drain (72). The disc rotates with clearance (S) in the open pump housing (54, 60) which contains an oil collecting space (68). The screw pump has a hub (38) on the shaft having an external screw profile (42) fitting with clearance (s) in the pump housing (54). The space (68) connects to the pump inlet via a duct (70) whilst the chamber (28) has a vent (74) to the top of the pump chamber (18).
