The contactor housing consists of two half shelves which are firmly connected and locked to the coil former of the contactor arranged within. The coil former has lugs symmetrically formed parallel to the dividing plane, engaging behind corresponding lugs on the inner side of the half shelves. Between the coil former and a rib on the half shelves may be inserted a spring which may be mounted in the coil flange in a manner preventing its loosening and securing the coil former in a locked position. The lugs of both the coil former and the half shelves may have oblique running up surfaces. The entire assembly is made of suitable plastics.
