A three phase transformer (1) has primary windings connected to a three phase supply source (3) and secondary windings connected to a three phase rectifying bridge (8) and a reservoir capacitor (6) whose discharge pulses are applied at an erosion interval. The secondary windings of the three phase transformer (1) are connected to the common point of network (8) and are shunted by capacitors (6) filtering the secondary three phase transformer voltage. The pulse generator has also a output pusle transformer (18) having two series connected primary windings (16, 17) which are connected to the three phase rectifying thyristor bridge (8). The middle point of the primary windings of the output pulse transformer (18) is connected via a capacitor (20) to the common point of the secondary windings of the first transformer (1).
