Self locking neck frame securing apparatus - holds cattle with pivot arms coupled for pivoting in same direction

Self-locking neck frame securing appts. for cattle comprises a neck frame (26) with two struts (19, 19') which are connected to each other at their lower ends and to the adjacent ends of pivot arms (10,10') at their upper ends. The other ends of the pivot arms are connected to a stand frame (1). Releasable locking means are associated with the neck frame struts. They automatically engage on pivoting of the neck frame struts into the closed position of the neck frame. The pivot arms are connected to each other by means of a coupling device which effects pivoting of the pivot arms in the same direction, pref. parallel link rods. If only one shoulder of the animal moves only one neck frame strut into the closed position, the other strut is also moved into the closed position.
