The jumper wires are connected to conducting traces on a circuit board. The ends of conducting traces are shaped as contact surfaces and are inserted into corresp. spring contacts. The circuit board is held in a two-part case from which the contacts project. The case halves (4, 5) have injection moulded annular elastic projections (7) into which similar corresp. pins (8) can be inserted. The circuit board (3) has centering holes (10) through which the pins (8) pass. They have shoulders (9) which hold the circuit board (3) between them and the projections (7). The housing covers are pref. made of plastics.
