Stippling plate for rolls - with detachable cups in plate recesses for easy cleaning

Stipple plates have a patter of cup-shaped recesses in which rolls are laid to be grooved before baking. A separate cup is provided for each recess which can be inserted in it and locked in position. This facilitates the cleaning of the linen covered stipple plate which need not be cleaned as a whole but merely the loose cups. If the cleaning is done outside the bakery, it saves transport costs. Cleaning can be done more frequently and the accumulation of bacteria in the linen fabric can be avoided. The cups are made of linen covered metal or of woven tissue. The stipple plates are made of wood, plastic, or plastic-coated light metal.
