Rectangular mould for casting porous concrete blocks - where end wall of mould can be moved to alter mould length

Rectangular mould for casting porous concrete blocks uses a mould base, two longitudinal walls (I) and two detachable end walls (II). At least one wall (I) can be moved to alter the length of the mould and is then clamped in position via threaded spindles; and seals are used between the movable wall (II) and both walls (I) and the mould base. The movable wall (II) is pref. mounted on the horizontal traverse of a portal fitted with wheels running along guide rails on the long sides of the mould base; and two hand levers joined to elbow levers are pref. used to raise or lower wall (II) in the portal; an elastic seal is pref. fitted along the bottom surface of wall (II). The porous blocks may have e.g. a length of 6m, width 1.8m and height 0.7m; the mould length can be altered up to its max.
