Rear boot hinge for car - has torsion springs under rear windscreen and pref. positioned inside hollow body section

The rear boot lid for the car is pivoted on lateral hinges at the sides of the parcel shelf under the rear windscreen. The hinges are joined by torsion springs which are positioned above the parcel shelf so as not to restrict the space on the shelf. The springs balance the boot lid and enable manual forces to lift the lid. An improved positioning of the torsion springs is inside the hollow body section comprising the venting duct for the rear air extract.
