Electrode wire for welding low alloy and mild steels - where wire has mild steel sheath and core of fluxes and refining agents

The wire consist os a sheath of low carbon steel surrounding a core of powder which contains (by wt.) 10-25% marble, 12-20% fluorspar concentrate, 3-8% sodium fluorosilicate, 6-10% ferromanganese, 4-7% ferrosilicon, 10-20% perovskite concentrate, 5-10% wollastonite, the remainder being Fe powder. High performance welding is achieved using an open arc, where the seam may run in any desired direction, e.g. vertical or horizontal.
