The equipment to stretch camouflage netting and spray it on both sides with camouflage colours uses a rotary reel or drum in the form of a regular polygon. The side edges are fitted with radially projecting studs to secure the camouflage net cords. The drum length matches the largest length of the camouflage net, while the distance between the side edges is so measured that the edges of the stretched net across the width of the drum coincide with the two side edges of the drum. The drum or reel is rotated intermittently to bring one of its sides perpendicular to a working platform or the like. The system allows a camouflage pattern to be applied to the netting while easing the work of the operatives sparying the material.
