The machine has a wire spacing and positioning station with a bending former to hoop the wire into parallel strips. The strips are overlapped and the hoops closed to an angle with the tails woven into each other. The netting is transported forward on an inclining conveyor to allow each strand to be formed at each station. The conveyor is also fitted with a tensioning device to hold the correct spacing for the netting.
