The strip is clad on =1 side with an underlayer (a) of Ni-Cu alloy, and a top layer (b) of Cu or a Cu-Sn alloy. Alloy (a) is pref. 70% Ni Cu, whereas layer (b) is pref. 80% Cu, 20% Sn; all % are by wt. Used for the mfr. of tubes with dia. =30 mm, and wall thickness =2mm.
