Microfilm destroying machine with chopper blades - has low friction coating on feed surfaces and suction fan to remove particles from cutting zone

The appts. is used for destroying microfilm and has several cutting blades to chop the material into pieces. In order to prevent the blades clogging, due to the electrostatic charges on ther chopped up particles, a suction fan is positioned near to and underneath the cutting zone; this fan evacuates the particles by forced draught. The microfilm enters the machine by means of a feed table. The upper face of this table is provided with a coating of a low friction material to improve the feeding-in action of the wheels feeding the microfilm into the interior of the machine.
