The human muscle electro-stimulation appts. (10) is particularly for the anal closing muscles. It includes a component (1) inserted in the body opening and having two stimulation electrodes spaced apart, together with an emitter generating bipolar impulses of less than 30 volts. The impulses have a width from 2 to 10 milliseconds, and a frequency from 0.5 to 6 Hz. Typically the width can be 7 milliseconds, and the sum of the current flowing in the muscles during an impulse can be zero.
