Hospital bed for mother and baby - has mobile platform for cradle at foot, pulled forward on telescopic suspension arms

The hospital bed enables a mother and her baby to be together. There is a platform (31) located at the foot of the bed (3) for holding the cradle. This platform can be pulled forwards on telescopic and articulated suspension arms (11, 12) One arm is used each side of the bed, fixed to a pivot (17, 18) each side of the bed post. The arms come together (13, 15) at a pivot plate (30) under the platform and support the latter at a determined height above the bed. The platform can also be pulled past the foot of the bed, to a position clear of the occupant.
