The motor vehicle door locking system includes one or two closing cylinders in the driver's, or the driver's and front passenger's, door, and two different keys. A control unit (5) is set by the cylinder on the first turn. This controls an electric switch (19, 20), and is detachably engaged by a stop (45) which has a release and locking device (25, 33). There is also a second control unit (25), likewise controlling an electric switch (40, 41) and the release and locking device, on the second turn. Phased motors, linked to the switches, control the swivelling locking elements.
