The control arrangement for feeding work into a grinding machine incorporates a logic circuit which processes the output of a cutting parameter indicator (9) and feeds the output to an amplitude analysing circuit (10). This circuit determines the statistical distribution of the input amplitude. The circuit is connected to a required value adjusting arrangement (11) which integrates the cutting time during under loading or over-loading. The integrated value is converted to an infeed parameter. The required value adjusting arrangement is connected to the drive of the grinding wheel (6).
