Electricity meter test connection and scanning unit - uses voltage and current supply from generators controlled by digitally generated signals

The tester consists of a suspension and a scanning unit for the tested meters supplied with voltages and currents from generators with oscillator controlled voltage or current amplifiers. Electronically controlled voltage and current generators (GUR, GUS, GUT, GIR, GIS, GIT) are used. They are controlled by digitally generated signals. All variables, such as voltage, current, phase shift angle, cos phi, frequency etc. are given as digital values. An error detector (FR) feeds the digital signals at the required values, and also feeds input impulses (actual values) from the separated scanning unit of the meter being tested (21, 22...) to an error computational and display unit (A1, A2...).
