A vacuum pressure gauge is used for vehicles with IC engines. It is connected to the inlet tube and monitors fuel consumpion. It is of partic. simple construction and gives partic. reliable monitoring. The gauge consists of a transparent cylinder (2) contg. a sliding piston (1) and a spring (4) between the piston and the end of the cylinder, near which a hose connection (5) is placed. The piston has contrasting colouring near its base. The cylinder base which supports the spring end is detachable from the cylinder and contains the hose connection.
