The improved fitting rig for tubeless tyres has a rotating work holder (8) which has two separate rotating heads (13, 14) which moves around the tyre and press it into the clamped wheel rim. The system uses angled heads to enable a wide profile tyre to be fitted without additional equipment. After fitting one side of the tyre the wheel rim is turned over and the other wall pressed home.
