There are a floor piece, roof piece protruding beyond the upright wall pieces on all sides, and at least one window and door, in the summerhouse or holiday chal esp. of metal. Floor piece, walls and roof piece are monolithically interconnected by welding, riveting or other means. The roof piece is in the form of a water-catchment trough. At one point, pref. in a depression, it is equipped with an outflow pipe socket for attachment of a tap, stop valve, shower or other water fitting. The trough can be a cornice fixed to the roof piece, with a plastic or similar corrosion-resistant coating.
