The terminal strip, for a telephone set whose cable has one or two 4 pole, oen 6-pole or one 7-pole plug type connector, has eight equally spaced tags (3) with screw clamps (4) for the various connectors. The advantage lies in needing the least possible constructional material and in being simple and cheap to fabricate. The strip is also small and uses standard screws whilst at the same time being able to handle all types of plug connector usually found in practice.
