The domestic refrigerator deep freezer evaporator has a relatively simple de-icer, ensuring long operation periods between de-icing. The de-icing of the cover of the evaporator is carried out outside the freezer. The evaporator is divided into deep freezing and ordinary refrigerating sections by a capillary tube (3). The evaporator has a cover (4) of good thermal conductivity which is removed from the deep freezer compartment for de-icing. The capillary ensures continued operation and temp. maintenance.
