The load suspension frame is for use on an overhead monorail transporter in a deep mine. It includes two lifting beams supported on the rail by several carriages, the beams being joined by an articulated coupling. The beams are pivoted to the carriages, and are supported by a centring suspension. Associated with lifting beam is a carrier beam assembly, this having motor operated drive members for use in raising and lowering the loads. Each carrier beam includes a retraction and extension mechanism for the drive members.
