Leakage indicator and seal for a wall subjected to pressure exerted by a liq. comprises a fleece mounted into the wall, and spaced-apart tubular lines connected to the fleece, or liq.-detectors. The fleece is open-porous and pref. made of plastics. The tubular lines are designed as supply openings for a sealant. The latter is pref. an epoxy resin. The claimed article is used to signal and/or seal water seepage in buildings or civil engineering structures.
