The single pass steam generator forced circulation has a normal furnace waterwall evaporating section and vertical cooled tubes connected in parallel supporting conductive heat transfer surfaces. Each of the support tubes embodies two branch-pieces forming T-junctions. The upper (9) has an orifice downstream of the junction and the lower (10) an orifice upstream of the junction. A multi-bend tube (12) is run between the junctions. These tubes together form a conductive pre-superheater section, taking some 50-75% of the flow into/out of the support tubes.
