The bridge mounted scraper installation is used for the removal of dumps of bulk goods. It has the bridge positioned in front of the slope of the dump and movable in the direction of the dump axis. A bridge conveyor is located on the movable bridge used for the removal of the bulk goods and the bridge is also equipped with a support installation (25) for a roof covering to protect the slope of the bulk goods dump. The roof covering is inclined at about the same angle of inclination as the slope of the dump.
