The support rack for transformers, distributors and instruments in power stations, has a first profiled support (1) connected on one or both sides via profiled cross-pieces (5) to at least one second profiled support (2-4). Each profiled support is fixed at one point at least. Support plates (7) are attached removably to the cross-pieces for fixing the equipment. The rack has fixing points, e.g. the floor (30) of a building, or the ceiling. The profiled supports may have a double-T profile, and are vertical while the cross-pieces are horizontal and may have elongated bores at both ends in U-shaped guides. The fixing points may be formed by a head-, or socket-plate on vertical support(s).
