The main part of the bag has two vertical side walls, a horizontal base wall, a flap lid attached to the side walls and a rear wall which faces the body of the user. This rear wall (3) is provided inside the bag with a grid of holes designed to take push-in plugs wherein these plugs act as holders for the various photographic items such as various replacement lenses, films etc. The plugs can be in the form of eccentric pins which with their heads at the outer end having a screwdrive slot engage behind the edge of a hole on a part to be fixed with their eccentric in the rotated position engaging behind the edge of a hole on the punched grid plate (16). Any item can now be removed from the bag whilst it is still hung from the shoulder.
