The multiple flash card has the flash bulbs arranged in two rows with contacts on each side of the card. Printed contacts provide connections to contacts in the card holder on the flashgun. This has a hinged plastic moulding into which the card is clipped and retained by edge grooves. The card has its own reflector layer and forms a disposable assembly for a low cost flash gun, which has contacts which fire the flashbulbs sequentially and without having to move the card with an indexing drive. In one variant, the lamps (15, 16, 17, ...22) are arranged with their long axes pointing in opposite directions, with the two terminal wires at the same ends and passing through holes in the card along longitudinally displaced lines.
