The deep-well pump drive comprises a frame having a common pivot carrying two driven beams with horse heads each operating one of two adjacent pumps. One beam may consist of two paralle beam members with the other beam arranged between them. The beams may be driven via connecting rods by cranks on a crank shaft. The cranks may be rigidly connected whilst the crank assembly carries at least one balancing weight at a distance from the crankshaft axis.
